About Us
The West Central MN Food Council website connects communities to improve food systems in 16 counties in West Central Minnesota. We are a collaboration of community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders working to improve food systems.
Our vision is to create a regional food network that ensures access to healthy, locally produced food while supporting sustainable farming and economic growth. Join efforts to expand food access, reduce waste, and support local farming.

PartnerSHIP 4 Health (PS4H) is part of Becker, Clay, Otter Tail, and Wilkin County Public Health and is supported by the Minnesota Department of Health through the Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP).
The West Central Minnesota Food Council brings together neighbors, producers, purchasers, and community leaders to strengthen our regional food system. We help people connect across sectors, align resources, and move good ideas into action.
Our region includes 16 counties: Clay, Becker, Cass, Wilkin, Otter Tail, Wadena, Crow Wing, Traverse, Grant, Douglas, Todd, Morrison, Stevens, Pope, Stearns, and Benton.
OUR MISSION
To advance policies and programs that advance an accessible, ecologically sustainable, low-carbon, and equitable food system that provides healthy and culturally appropriate food for the community.
